The Silk Road was an important international trading route between China and the Mediterranean Area Countries in history. It started from Chang'an , passing through Gansu, Xinjiang then arrived the countries in Central Asia and West Asia. As silk made up the major part of the trading along this route, it was named by a German geographer in 1877 as "The Silk Road". It is also a great cultural bridge connected the ancient China the the Mediterranean Countries. The friendship among the people from different country are developed rapidly. It far beyond the meaning and scope of its own.
